He graduated from the Gaertano Donizetti Institute of Music in Bergamo, Italy,with diplomasin Opera Artist,Director, Conductor and Musical. He also holds aBS in Vocal Music and a PhD in Arts Management, from Kyung Hee University (Seoul, South Korea), writing his thesis on ‘The Fusionof Performing Arts andits Impact on Cultural Code’. He is currently Professor at Kookmin University,
College of Arts(Seoul), and Directorof OPERAMA ArtsAdministration Research Institute, also based in Seoul.
Professor Jung volunteers as an honorary ambassador for The Salvation Army in South Korea.
